Có thể nói “Education” là chủ đề từ vựng bắt buộc phải học khi các bạn ôn thi IELTS. - Extra-curricular activities: Các hoạt động ngoại khóa
Ex: My teacher encouraged us to take part in extra-curricular activities in order to develop skills beyond what is taught in scheduled lessons.
- Give out homework; giao bài tập về nhà
Ex: My teacher never forgets to give out homework for us.
- Deliver a lecture: thuyết trình
Ex: She deliver a lecture very attractively.
- Fall behind with studies: không theo kịp việc học ở trường
Ex: Because of spending much time on working a part-time job, he fell behind with studies at university.
- Play truant/ truancy: trốn học
Ex: A number of pupils have been regularly.
- Intensive course: khóa học chuyên sâu
Ex: She’s attending an intensive course about economic law.
- Vocational course: khóa học nghề
Ex: More and more students choose vocational course after graduating high school instead of studying university.
- Comprehensive education: giáo dục toàn diện
Ex: Comprehensive education is designed for students covering variety of subjects to develop all abilities.
- Keep up with the work load: bắt kịp với việc học tập ở trường
Ex: She always keep up with the work load and get high score at school.
- Tone deaf: không có khả năng phân biệt các giai điệu âm nhạc
Ex: Henry wasn't really very musical but his brother was tone-deaf.
